It is CityKids' aim to offer academic support to any young person involved in programs at CityKids and our school-based BridgeBuilder Intiative sites.
Last year, more than 30 youth participated in the tutoring program where they were matched with qualified volunteer tutors for regular weekly one-hour sessions.
Most of the tutoring relationships last several months, and we have see positive impacts on young people's academic and standardized test performance as a result.
