CityKids Support Services are ongoing, personalized services to assist youth involved in all CityKids' programs in realizing their personal, career and educational goals.
CityKids provides each of the young people in our core group with comprehensive Support Services in an effort to develop the whole child. Participants receive education, career readiness and personal counseling, referrals to appropriate mental health and social service providers, access to job and internship announcements and follow-up services. CityKids staff works with youth to develop goals and then helps them to design a path to their achievement.
Throughout this process, CityKids staff collects data on the progress of each client, maintaining computerized records of the steps taken to foster their growth. With improved data collection methods over the years, we are able to gather more accurate and extensive information on our program participants resulting in an increased ability to provide case and crisis management services where necessary.
